Salon Policies
Cancellation: Kindly give a minimum of 24 hours notice of cancellation. Any appointment cancelled less than 24 hours in advance will be marked as a "missed appointment." 3 or more missed appointments, we reserve the right to charge full price of services missed. After 3 missed appointments, we may require pre-payment before booking, and those funds would be relenquished by customer if the pre-paid appointment is also missed.
Children: We love them, but we are a busy salon and we do not have time or staff to entertain them. If it is necessary for you to bring your child/children with you to your appointment please keep them near you and be respectful of other clients in the salon who are relaxing. Also keep in mind, our salon is not childproof. There are many potential hazards for an unsupervised child to find. We do reserve the right to discontinue a service if the behavior of a child is such that the stylist cannot perform the service safely or with the expecation of a positive outcome There is no charge if the stylist determines that the service should not be completed.
Hair color appointments: Please arrive for hair color appointments with reasonably clean, dry hair. Please make sure your hair is cleansed of any "between color" touch-up products (powders, crayons, creams, etc). $25 will be added to your service for pre-shampoo and blowdry to remove root touch up product if time allows. You may be asked to reschedule if time does not allow.
Shellac and other nail enhancements: As an organic, clean-air salon we do not provide any artificial nail enhancements or Shellac (no-chip) nail services. We also do not stock or use the chemicals necessary to remove these treatments. Please remove any nail enhancements or Shellac polish before arriving for your manicure or pedicure.
Warranty Work: We always strive for 100% customer satisfaction. However, occassionally re-dos or fixes are necessary due to miscommunication or other unforseen circumstances. Stylists guarantee their work for 7 days after your appointment, and will happily work with you on a solution at no charge. Warranty work must be scheduled with the original stylist.
Product returns: We will happily accept returns of un-opened salon products within 30 days of purchase for exchange or in-store credit. Opened products may only be returned for reason of product defect or documented allergic reaction. We encourage you to try any of our products at the salon or request a free sample before purchasing.
